We would like to be able to know how many pursuits were added/moved to a particular stage during a given time period. This would be similar to the Won/lost/abandoned report, but by stage.

We use these metrics to get a snapshot of the volume of pursuits. For example, at our BD meeting we will report X pursuits in Pre-Proposal, Y Pursuits in Proposal, Z pursuits pending.

Could you provide more detail about the use case? How would this be helpful? How would you use it? We just want to make sure we understand the issue completely.
